Banksy Directs The Simpsons Opening Credits

Banksy, the politically-driven graffiti artist behind some extremely famous public works in the United Kingdom, was recently invited to direct an opening sequence of The Simpsons.

The resulting animation is strangely depressing and appears to be a dig at 20th Century Fox, their motivations and their effect on society. It’s funny though.

Rather than trying to describe the surreal sequence, here it is in all it’s glory:
