In a bid to ‘complete the Photoshop line’, or maybe to encourage people not to download illegal copies, Adobe has launched an online version of the new CS5. It has most of the basic editing features that come with the full version, and a good online interface for using it all.
This new service is not only for editing but an online photo hosting and sharing site, in the vein of Flickr or Picasa. When you sign up for a free account you are given a unique URL which becomes your personal gallery, and can sync with your home copy of Photoshop to backup images as well as displaying them. An interesting combination of Photoshop and a social media site, it’s worth checking out if only for editing on the go. Check it out at: www.photoshop.com
