The UK’s recent snap General Election received a phenomenal amount of coverage over the summer, in no small part down to the rather shambolic Conservative campaign and the surprisingly resonant approach from Corbyn and the Labour Party, who many had expected to flop spectacularly.
One area which didn’t receive a huge amount of coverage however was the finances behind such a campaign, and the logistics underpinning calling and holding a national election in such a short period of time. It was this logistical lens through which we looked at the data behind the election, producing an infographic examination of the finances in partnership with logistics specialists Go Supply Chain.
