Client Infographic: How Do Employers View Online Degrees?

If you’re a regular reader of our blog then you’ll know that we’re trying to publish more client infographics; particularly those that visualise especially interesting or pertinent data. This week we’re featuring an infographic done for Drexel Online, via SEER Interactive.

Given the current economic climate in both the UK and the US, it’s no surprise to learn that more and more people are looking to gain a degree to improve their employment prospects (or just for their own sense of achievement, which is particularly common amongst adults and senior students). As these people explore their higher education options, many are now considering enrolling in an online course, rather than pursuing the more traditional on-campus degree.

It’s easy to see the benefits of completing an online degree, but one consideration appears to be more important to potential students than any other; will potential employers view an online degree in the same way they do a traditional degree? According to research completed by Drexel University Online, the answer is a resounding yes:
