When it comes to planning a wedding, one of the most important (and expensive) decisions you have to make is where you’re going to hold the event. Whether it’s one location for the whole day or one for the ceremony and another for the reception, your choice of venue will play a pivotal role in the overall day, and will of course be part of the memories, photographs and videos for the rest of your lives together.
As such, people spend a lot of time, money and effort finding the perfect venue, whether that ends up being a quaint local church and village hall or a national treasure such as a castle or country estate. But have you ever daydreamed about getting married in one of those iconic buildings you see on the big and small screen? Whether it’s the beautiful castle from Downton Abbey or the country manor in Pride and Prejudice, or even that incredible building from Skyfall, chances are most of us would jump at the chance to say our vows in one of these stunning locations.
